WHEREAS, Title I of P.L. 104-333 provides that the Presidio Trust shall establish procedures for lease agreements and other agreements for use and occupancy of Presidio facilities, including a requirement that in entering into such agreements the Presidio Trust shall obtain reasonable competition; and

WHEREAS, on February 24, 1999, the Presidio Trust Board of Directors adopted a Non-residential Real Estate Policy; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to establish a policy to allow short-term leasing of certain Presidio facilities on an expedited basis;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Presidio Trust Board of Directors adopts the Non-residential Interim Leasing Policy attached hereto, effective immediately; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Non-residential Interim Leasing Policy applies only to those Presidio facilities designated by the Board of Directors and that the Non-residential Real Estate Policy adopted by the Board of Directors on February 24, 1999 remains in full force and effect; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director shall implement the Non-residential Interim Leasing Policy by developing and promulgating procedures consistent with the Non-residential Interim Leasing Policy.
